Digital story

Actually making a digital story was pretty exciting, I feel as if my own article gets published or something. So, We can guess how much it can help to boost students’ intrinsic motivation in learning a language.
The process in general is not very complex. As long as we have the basic facility, it seems like very easy to handle. Besides, mixing language with limited photos could help students to clarify their main points of a story and force them to pay attention to structure and organization of a short essay. Reading aloud their own story is another benefit, because it can help students to practice their pronunciation and improve their fluency. Moreover, hearing their speech playing back to them has tremendous help for students themselves. Because, first of all, they will take it very serious because their own face is on the line and they will do their best in regard of all aspects of a speech. Secondly, because of the concern, they will be very sensitive to their own problems. That benefit of the digital story combined with teachers’ appropriate guidance, students can gain pretty quick improvement on their overall language skill. Furthermore, the recorded story can playback many times, so that it will be very helpful in looking  back and see what development has been accomplished after a period of time,  and what teachers and students still need to do.
